The Selection Tests (11 Plus) for entry into Year 7 in September 2012 took place on Saturday 8th October 2011.
LATE APPLICATIONS
If you missed the tests, you can apply, after 1st March 2012, to be tested as a late application. All late applications will only be considered after applications that were received on time have been processed.
Results
By now you should all have received your results by email or letter. You will have received an email from the school where your child sat the tests and a further email from each of the schools you had requested should consider your child’s results (“the shares”). You should all have received a minimum of one email and a maximum of four emails with your child’s results.
If you have not received your emails please contact the appropriate school. They will be able to assist you.
If you have any questions or you require further information please contact the schools direct. Please do not reply to the results emails as these are sent out from a central bureau and we are unable to assist you any further.
For those who like statistics: 2,035 registered to take the tests on time. This resulted in 5,435 requests to share. 5,206 results were sent out at the weekend. Of these just 84 were sent out by letter and 5,122 were sent by email. The difference in numbers between the number of requests to share and the number of results is explained by the number of children who did not sit the tests either on Saturday 8th October or Thursday 13th October 2011. In some cases the applications were withdrawn, in others they just did not show up on the day and no explanation was given.
